Vesta Terms of Service
Effective November 30, 2026
- Who we are. These terms are an agreement between you and Bio-Analytics, Inc., doing business as BioMedware ("we"), for Vesta: the Windows desktop app, Vesta Online, and related services.
- Your account. Give accurate details, keep your sign-in private, and use your account yourself. You are responsible for what happens under it.
- Trial, plans and payment. You can try Vesta free for 14 days. Paid plans are billed yearly in advance through Stripe, at the prices on our pricing page, plus any sales tax. They renew automatically each year until you cancel. We will tell you at least 30 days before a price change affects your renewal.
- Canceling and refunds. You can cancel at any time from your account page and keep access until the end of the year you paid for. Refunds follow our Refund Policy.
- Teams and site licenses. The buyer of a team or site license is its admin and decides who gets a seat. Each seat is for one named person.
- Using the desktop app. While your plan is active, you may install and use the Vesta desktop app on computers you control, for your own work or your organization's.
- Your data. You own the data and projects you bring to Vesta or create in it. You allow us to store and process them only to run Vesta for you. We do not sell your data. Our Privacy Policy explains the details.
- AI Advisor. The AI Advisor's suggestions come from AI models run by third-party providers and can be wrong. Check results before you rely on them. What you send to the Advisor is processed by those providers to produce a reply.
- Public data sources. Vesta imports data from public sources such as the US Census Bureau and the CDC. We don't control their accuracy or availability, and each source's own terms apply.
- Fair use. Don't break the law with Vesta, share or resell your account, copy or reverse-engineer the software, or try to get around its security.
- Our service. We work to keep Vesta available and improve it, but we can't promise it will always be available or error-free.
- No warranties; limits on liability. Vesta is provided "as is". It is not medical, legal or other professional advice. Our total liability is limited to what you paid us in the 12 months before the claim, and we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses.
- Deleting your account. You can delete your account at any time from your account page. You have 14 days to change your mind; after that your data is deleted permanently, except billing records the law requires us to keep. Backup copies of your files are cleared within 30 days. We may suspend an account that breaks these terms.
- Changes to these terms. We will post changes here and email you about important ones at least 30 days before they take effect.
- Law and disputes. Michigan law governs these terms, and disputes go to the courts of Washtenaw County, Michigan.
